Technology in Play HQ

Here at TiP HQ our aim is to inspire children from all areas of the country, introducing them to the world of STEM and what fun it has to offer. By developing strong Corporate Partnerships we have been able to support businesses and their events as much as they support us as a small enterprise. Read all about our current partnerships below.
National Railway Museum
We are pleased to continue our partnership with the NRM. Since we launched in 2017 we have regularly delivered workshops and activities during their busy, holiday periods to assist in their goal of engaging more young people within the museum. From STINKY bio-fuel experiments to Rube Goldberg contraptions such opportunities give the museum something different to offer to their visitors and us the opportunity to engage with families from far and wide.
Yorkshire Agricultural Society
"Technology in Play have provided unique activities for children at a number of our events in 2019 including the Great Yorkshire Show, Countryside Live and Springtime Live in addition to our education event for primary schools Countryside Days. Highlighting how technology is used in agriculture is vital for the future of the industry and Technology in Play’s workshops have given many children the opportunity to code robots to solve various scenarios. We have enjoyed working with the team and hope to continue with them again at future events."

York St John University
Since the launch of TiP we have worked closely with YSJ offering a range of employment opportunities for students and graduates. From long term graduate internships to short term placements each year we have had the pleasure of working with a number of students, from a variety of courses, who were able to assist in the delivery of TiP HQ whilst gaining vital experience for their future career, whatever that may be.
